Right lets make this short and sweet!

Thanks to sila. and the great fella's over at Logitech, we have some great gear to give away and here's how you can get your grubby little mitts on it! This competition is open to all Call of Duty 4 players that are competing in the CoD4 tournament at Xlan this year. The rules are simple! the first two players to score Ace's whilst playing in an official CoD4 tournament game at Xlan will win a prize pack Including a G9 Laser gaming mouse and a G15 Keyboard!

Scoring an ace means killing all five of your enemy opponents in one round, commonly known as a 'team down'. The Xlan CoD4 Tournament will require you to record demos of your games anyway, so if you manage to score a team down, make sure you keep the demo file!

This competition is no way in conjunction with the great folks running Xlan or the event itself, we simply ask that if you manage to get an Ace that you keep your demo, as we will be accepting entries a week or so after Xlan has finished.

More on the forums!

Also be on the lookout for a review of this great new hardware by some of new Zealands top gamers in the coming months!

I am slightly saddened, but mostly overjoyed to announce to you all that team sila. has officially retired from competitive Battlefield 2 on lucky old Friday the 13th. We have had an epic success with the battlefield series, being flown not only around the country, but around the world to represent New Zealand in the video gaming industry, winning multiple tournaments, including the battlefield 2 nationals two years running, The team has earned just over $74,000 in combined prizes throughout its life and has landed major sponsors, we are happy to finally move onto bigger and better things!

sila. will be splitting into two divisions, both under the same name and overall leadership, We will have a QW:ET division, headed up by Nick247, and a Counter Strike - Source team headed up by 5loth and myself, we plan on having the same success in both of these games that we had with the Battlefield series.

You will still see us on the battlefield 2 public servers, as we do still enjoy the odd game! So that's all from us folks, Good luck to all competing teams for this seasons BF2!
